Few things are more important than discipling new believers. When asked what the most common challenges are in the discipleship of new believers, pastors identified five things.
- Not enough converts to host an ongoing class or small group.
- No structured process to coach them in their first few days of becoming a Christ-follower.
- New believers don't want to attend a class or small group.
- Can't find new believer resources that are from a Spirit-filled perspective.
- Difficulty finding a reliable and effective new believer teacher/coach.
